On 13 January 2015 the iMobility Forum will organise a forum on vulnerable road users and ITS technologies designed for riders. The event will cover the specifics of riding powered-two wheelers, how cooperative ITS applications can improve safety for riders and recent developments in protective equipment, among others.
A total of 1,050,780 PTWs were registered during the first ten months of 2014 in the EU. This represents an increase of 1.26% compared to the 1,037,700 units registered between January and October 2013. Registrations in the motorcycle segment grew by 6.8%, whilst moped registrations fell by 9.8%.

ANCMA-EICMA will organise the 72th Esposizione Mondiale del Motoclismo (72th world motorcycle exhibition) between 6 and 9 November 2014, in Milan.
Prior to the opening of the exhibition, on 5 November 2014, ANCMA, the Italian National Association for the Motorcycle and Bicycle industries, will hold an international workshop on intellectual property rights and motorcycle design.
Intermot Cologne ended after five action-packed fair days with more than 200,000 visitors from 105 countries.
The 2014 edition of Intermot marked the 50th anniversary of the Cologne motorcycle exhibition. Two-wheeler fans had the opportunity to test the latest machines and models, as well as their riding skills on ten test ride tracks. A total of 960 companies from 37 countries participated in Intermot Cologne 2014.
The European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ludovic Basset as its new Public Affairs Manager from October 2014.
