IVM launches Licence Challenge 2010
In order to get up to 1000€ in rebates, equipment and a motorcycle participants will have to blog hard on the community website and pass their motorcycle licence test
IVM, the German Motorcycle Industry Association has launched the "Licence Challenge 2010", a competition offering motorcycles or scooters to beginner riders for the duration of their training period. In addition, IVM will equip the ten winners with the latest in protective clothing and offer up to € 1,000 cash back for passing the practical test.
In the context of IVM’s "Vivalamopped" campaign targeting young riders, the "Licence Challenge 2010", encourages new riders to take the test by reducing the costs of the training and making attractive training motorcycles available. Candidates must send a motivation letter, pick the motorcycle of their dreams among the 14 to choose from and wait for the verdict.
A jury will select ten winners who, for the duration of their motorcycle license training, will receive the vehicle they have chosen from a line-up of fourteen popular models.
The ten winners of the "Licence Challenge 2010", will then have to post a video on the Vivalamopped blog and be voted by the on-line community. The 3 participants with the most votes for their blog will receive € 1,000 cash back! But that's not all - the first place winner, will keep his motorcycle of choice to the end of the 2010 season.
The Vivalamopped website is followed daily by a community of over 16.000 people.

The German Motorcycle Industry Association e.V. represents the German motorcycle industry: manufacturers and importers of motorcycles and scooters, as well as manufacturers and importers of motorcycle gear and motorcycle equipment.
The 52 members associated in IVM represent 95 per cent of the German motorcycle market. IVM advocates the experience of motorcycle and scooter riding. "Lobby work for powered two-wheelers" is the most important function of the association that participates and co-decides in politics and society, in numerous committees and in dialogues with decision-makers.
IVM was founded in 1990 to represent the German motorcycle trade which has an average annual turnover of more than 7 billion euros. The aim of IVM is to increase the acceptance and reputation of powered two-wheelers as regards economic, political and eco-political aspects. IVM is active in political committees at a national and international level and carries out systematic public relations work, fosters research work and makes statistical and political background information available to its members.
