Cologne (Germany) – Ducati, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer based in Bologna presented a new safety campaign during the opening press conference at Intermot the Motorshow in Cologne.
The new safety campaign was highlighted by Ducati announcing their intention to supply a back protector with every new Ducati motorcycle sold in Europe.
Gabriele Del Torchio, Ducati CEO, said: “We are among those who have signed up to promote the European Community campaign: ‘25,000 lives to save’. Ducati, along with its European sales network, is a strong believer in safety, something that we always have in mind when developing our new bikes and protective technical clothing. In order to consolidate this effort, we have decided that, from today, every bike that we sell in Europe will come with a high quality back protector bearing the correct standards of homologation and raising the level of safety for all Ducatisti.”
